| It is the brand name of SUMITOMO for FFC and it is mainly constructed with flat rectangular conductors sandwiched between two layers of electrical grade insulation materials. It is suitable for reducing wiring space and also for dynamic applications such as trailing cables for printer head. |

In response to customers' requirement for thinner and finer pitch cables, SEPM has produced various state-of-the-art products. One of these innovative high-tech products is P0.5 SUMICARD (FFC with pitch of 0.5mm). In addition, we can offer shielded SUMICARD for applications, which require EMI shielding such as signal cable for scanner. |

It is used to transmit the air bag shock sensor signal to the ignition device in order to deploy the air bag in the event of a collision. Outstanding environmental resistance and durability of the cable enable it to withstand harsh environmental conditions and extensive steering movement during driving. |

It is another type of our extensive flat cable products, which uses flexible round conductors. Jumper lead can also withstand high temperature, has fire retardant property and a long bending life. This is achieved with our OM-1S conductor, which has a stainless steel wire as the central core surrounded by a few tin-plated copper wires wrapped around it to form a strand of bunched conductors. We also produce jumper lead wire with flat rectangular conductors. |

| ECO project for environment-friendly products |

| In line with the environmental policy of our parent company, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd., we have endeavored to ensure a clean and safe environment with every possible convenience that technology can offer to our future generations, through our ever-increasing repertoire of environmental-friendly products. We have progressed significantly in this ECO project with impressive results especially in the usage of lead-free raw materials in both our wire and flat cable products. All Ozone Depleting Substances have also been eliminated from our manufacturing processes. Currently, we have embarked on an even more challenging task of developing and changing into halogen-free materials as well, especially for our FFC products. |
